On Friday 23rd our U13 boys and girls Athletics team has competed in the Athletics meet held at BISC. Teams from 4 schools have competed in running, throwing and jumping activities. There were more than 70 students representing their schools in the competition. The purpose of the day was not only to win the race, but to also enrich their sporting experience. The joy that the athletic experience brought, and the honor to participate in competition may be a motivation to make you be tougher and let participants to show their remarkable talent. Well done for El Alsson’s participants who managed to win a medal or more in each event ranking the team 2nd PLACE overall.

Football

On Saturday 24th March a squad of 12 senior boys took part in the final 8 – a – side Football Tournament at BISC. Our first match started very well. The team did some great passing and good tackling for position interception which made all teams discover who might be the winner of the tournament and plan how to stop El Alsson boys.
Boys have played three games putting brusher on opponents forcing teams to push back and gradually lose control. With some good tackles we managed to avoid the opposition scoring for the first 2 games and with some great goal keeping, saving a number of shots by Youssef wally and scoring 5 goals in the last game the team won all three games finishing champions with 9 points. Well done for the whole team and special mention for Mohamed Nasser for scoring a goal in each game. El Alsson was a hard team to beat and this generation will be greatly missed.
