El Alsson ElKheir Ramadan initiative 2025

Alsson Elkheir Ramadan Initiative

El Alsson British and American International School in New Giza would like to announce the Alsson ElKheir Ramadan initiative 2025.  We are always very impressed with the generosity and care that our families demonstrate during Ramadan. This is a tradition we would like to continue and develop every year. Last year we gave out 400 boxes and prepared Iftar for 150 orphans. With your generous support, we were able to raise approximately 270,000 LE.

This year, we are looking forward to increasing the reach of our Ramadan initiative by giving out 430 and sponsoring  additional Iftar events during Ramadan. As a school, we believe not only that charity and community service begins at home, but also that children benefit from giving of their time and efforts. With Ramadan approaching, we invite students to make donations to support Alsson ElKheir this Ramadan 2025. Funds collected will be used to support activities that students will participate in including:

  • Packing and distributing whole-sale dry goods to create Ramadan boxes to support our matrons and workers as well as sponsored families in need and orphanages
  • Sponsoring an iftar for orphans and families in need who we support as a school community.
  • Sponsoring an iftar for our matrons and workers on campus

Children of all ages, across the schools, will have the opportunity to work together to organize, pack and distribute items, while also learning the importance of teamwork and the spirit of giving. Students will be guided and supported in this process through our teachers and leadership teams.

In light of rising inflation and increase of prices, we ask for your generous donation to support Alsson Elkheir Ramadan drive as every year.  Please send your donations to the tutor teacher / homeroom / or relevant office in a sealed and labelled envelope labelled Alsson ElKheir Ramadan  by January 31,2025. The sooner your contribution is received, the faster we proceed. Should you have any questions, please contact Ms. Nihal Amin in the British school or Ms. Angie Shalaby in the American school.

Wishing you all a Ramadan Kareem.
