With the eyes of the world on Egypt for the start of the COP27 Climate Change conference in Sharm El Sheikh, El Alsson British and American International is hosting a symposium for 11 international schools from across Egypt. The day was a combination of presentations on COP21/26/27 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, a carousel of workshops which include a visit to the exhibition (16 organisations confirmed covering several SDGs) and workshops run by the American University in Cairo, Infinity and El Alsson students. The students worked in groups for the carousel of workshops/visited the exhibition in the afternoon sessions. The day ended with time for reflections, and each school is asked to have one student come up and share their thoughts with the audience. #beyondcop21symposium
